<div>Greetings,</div>
<div>Time for the fall race report.This past weekend October 9th and 10th,was the second to last race weekend for NASA So Cal and the weather was fantastic,and not to mention the racing close.</div>
<div></div>
<div>My second event weekend in the tough H2 class was a great one with close racing among the top 5 racers.Saturday I was adjusting to the track conditions and my car setup,and made some changes that were helpful.Adding power steering made the car very easy to drive and took much less effort than no power steering,thus saving me energy and helping my consistency driving.Qualifying 6th,I avoided a first lap crash in front of me,and was quickly 3rd after turn 2. In a hard fought battle for 3rd with the H2 front runner Greg Neuwirth and his AEM integra,I did the best I could and he eventually got around me and I settled for a solid 4th place out of 8 finish with my #64 Civic.</div>
<div></div>
<div>Sunday's race was much better since I had a rhythm from Saturday.I qualified 6th yet again but this time was a reverse grid and standing start,giving me outside pole position.With the faster cars coming up behind a few laps later, I drove defensively and gave up a few spots from driving under pressure.Once I got settled down,I fought hard with Benny Pecqueur for 4th position clicking off a personal best 2:04.2 lap.Though as my brakes and tires started going away,so was my chance at passing for 4th. Ending in 5th right behind the top 4 with in a few seconds of each other! There is much more on the table for me once my confidence driving gets even higher,the car can do it I just have to execute.</div>
<div>A real fun weekend and I hope to do better yet at the season finale next month at Buttonwillow.</div>
<div></div>
<div>Thanks so much to my sponsors and supporters,you know it means alot.</div>
<div></div>
<div>Cheers</div>

<div>Greetings to all,</div>
<div>Another update from the JW Racing camp. This past weekend at Auto Club raceway in Fontana,Ca was the final NASA So Cal event before the Nationals at Miller motorsports park in Utah next month,and was a good chance to make sure our car was solid. This was the first complete weekend we had since I converted my #64 civic coupe to the H2 class and the summer weather was on par with temps in the 90's.</div>
<div>Saturday was a good run for me qualifying 4th and I would likely have finished there,however a rare black flag stopped the race mid way.While stopped in hot pit lane,I was discouraged by tons of oil and dirt accumulating on my windshield.Not sure if it was my car of the car ahead of me,I chose to be safe and pull off and into the garage to examine my car.It turns out it was the car ahead of me and I could have finished the race once the black flag condition ended.Bad break and a lesson learned.</div>
<div>Sunday I qualified 5th after a heated qualifying race, with the top 5 H2 cars all with in about 2/100ths of a second! In the main event I got a great start and unfortunately got slowed up by a car from another class which set me back a few seconds.Since the top 5 were so close in speed,it was nearly impossible for me to make up the gap I lost.Just a 1/4 mile away from the pack I could not catch the draft which is very important at Auto Club.Thus in the end I had the same gap and in 5th position behind Winner Edik Stepanyan,2nd Steph Papadakis,and 3rd Greg Neuwirth.</div>
<div>I am very happy about my conversion to H2 and the closer racing is much more fun and I am learning even more.I hope to be able to still make it to the Nationals at Miller and show what I can do.The car is competitive and as long as I do my job and wheel her to the front,we should be good!</div>

<div>Greetings again my friends,</div>
<div>I have always had good news each race, and of course, I am mortal.It has been a tough weekend and will keep this report short and sweet.</div>
<div>Reaching the halfway point of the NASA Honda Challenge season,we stopped in <span id="SPELLING_ERROR_0" class="blsp-spelling-error">Rosamond</span> CA at Willow Springs raceway May 22-23rd.Normally a warm place being in the desert,it is sometimes known for snow in the winter and this race was a taste of the latter.Extreme winds,showers and very cool temps were in the area reminding us more of March than May.</div>
<div>Saturday's race was a good close race with many cars,though in the end few survived as a surprise tech inspection <span id="SPELLING_ERROR_1" class="blsp-spelling-corrected">served</span> disqualifications to several cars.<span id="SPELLING_ERROR_2" class="blsp-spelling-corrected">Unfortunately</span> I had my own car issues in the #64 H1 civic coupe,and could not <span id="SPELLING_ERROR_3" class="blsp-spelling-corrected">capitalize</span> on my competitors misfortune,since we did not start the race. Sunday I managed to get the car somewhat functional and went of for some practice and qualifying laps.After trying to adjust driving style to a dangerous front brake lockup issue from a poor pad selection,I chose to not race Sunday for safety reasons.</div>
<div>This weekend showed to me that making changes to the car and not testing prior to a race weekend can be a severe set-back.I also learned <span id="SPELLING_ERROR_4" class="blsp-spelling-error">that</span> a car and driver can hit a <span id="SPELLING_ERROR_5" class="blsp-spelling-corrected">plateau</span> and I am in need of a little push to get the car's development to the next level so I can get the seat time I need. </div>
<div>Hopefully we can sort things out for the next event at <span id="SPELLING_ERROR_6" class="blsp-spelling-error">Buttonwillow</span> Raceway park next race.</div>
<div></div>
<div>I want to thank all of my supporters and sponsors</div>
<div></div>
<div>Cheers</div>

<div>Greetings again my friends,</div>
<div>Hope all is well.This past weekend was the third NASA So Cal event of the season,held at Buttonwillow raceway park.The weather was amazing and this race weekend also had the 3hr day to night enduro which is fun to watch.It was also great so see some of my customers' engines run well at the track this weekend,both in the top 2 for the H2 class.</div>
<div>In my H1 class Honda Challenge Sprint races,I got a 2nd Saturday and a 1st place on Sunday in my #64 Gold K24 powered EJ1 coupe.Saturday I was spending most of the time getting acquainted with a new rear sway bar and a few other adjustments that were unsettling at first,but once I got used to them I was 2 seconds faster then the last time I ran the #13 clockwise layout.I ran a best time of a 2:01,getting ever so close to my goal of the 2:00 barrier;a highly respected feat among the better drivers. Some rear bumper contact left me controlling my sliding car as if I was in the drift series,but I learned alot and managed to man handle my car to the finish.</div>
<div>Sunday I did not qualify as I hoped,but with the standing start I got a great start and was among the leaders.A very close quarters battle between the 2 top cars of the H2 class and the top two H1 class that I run in,me leading H1.There were many many cautions during our race including a Full course yellow,which is rare for us.I was passed under a caution flag by my competitor,which after I showed my tape to the Director,was DQ'd for not relinquishing the position.I did finish 2nd over all and 2nd in class,however in the end,I was awarded 1st place in H1 following the disqualification of the winner.Though he was a few tenths faster per lap.I would rather have to race him to win than be cheated on.A great lesson for everyone.
</div><div>After 3 wins and a 2nd in the last 4 races,I now have a solid points lead for the season H1 class championship,and I hope to hold it.See you next month at Willow Springs International raceway.</div>

<div>
<div>Greetings again my friends,</div>
<div>This past weekend,the 10th and 11th of October was the second to last weekend for the NASA So Cal Honda Challenge season.With the summer heat over,it was very pleasant for man and machine to have a weekend at the track that was not too hot for once.With a good showing at the previous California speedway event,I hoped to continue at Buttonwillow.</div>
<div>Saturdays race was great,I ran the best lap times to date on this layout, with my #64 K20 civic,and I was happy with my improvements.This event was a crossover event for Nor cal which meant more and new people to race,we also had a couple visitors from the Utah area and gave me a good run in the H1 class.Traffic was tough this weekend and lots of people were going off track making mistakes.With the dry summer we have had,all of the runoff areas were very dusty and once a car went off it was impossible for the next driver to see through.I had a few of these clouds pop up in front of me and the gut feeling driving into a cloud of blinding dust and darkness is indescribable.I made it to the checked flag with my cautious decisions and finished 2nd in class.</div>
<div>Sunday,a new points day and clean slate,gave me another chance to improve and stay up front.If you have been reading my reports you well know Sunday has been a day of electrical gremlins and this weekend was no different.About half way through the morning qualifier,my car shut off and I had to coast off the track.With some assistance from a fellow racer and his crew,we replaced a suspect sensor and looked over the cars' computer.I did qualify, so I had to try and make the show at least.As I was on grid about to enter the track , my car shut off again and I was unable to continue to start the race.Four sundays in a row of the same issue,after replacing the same sensor,so we are going to replace the wiring harness on the car this time and try again.I am second in H1 class points and hope to make it there or even to #1 in the end as well as get the Rookie of the Year honors.</div>
<div></div>
<div>Thanks to all of my sponsors for your support for this fantastic season and I hope to continue.We will be making some big improvements to the car for the off season so we can be even better next year!</div>
<div></div>
<div>Untill next month for the finale,</div>

<div>Greetings again my friends,</div>
<div>This past weekend Aug. 1st and 2<span id="SPELLING_ERROR_0" class="blsp-spelling-error">nd</span> was the final leg of the summer portion of the NASA So Cal schedule which was held at Auto Club Speedway in <span id="SPELLING_ERROR_1" class="blsp-spelling-error">Fontana</span> California.Friday was a test and tune event where we could dial in the car and I could get acquainted with my racing lines again.The car was running strong and I had a good feeling about the racing <span id="SPELLING_ERROR_2" class="blsp-spelling-corrected">Saturday</span>.</div>
<div>Morning practice Saturday was fun,especially when I was atop of the lap time chart with my #64 civic at the end.I managed my best <span id="SPELLING_ERROR_3" class="blsp-spelling-corrected">lap times</span> to date at this track and was very happy with a 1:57.3.I qualified 4<span id="SPELLING_ERROR_4" class="blsp-spelling-error">th</span> however with a 1:58.6 and began to plan a strategy for my race.Saturdays rolling start was close and I was able to push to 3rd overall position after a few laps.After <span id="SPELLING_ERROR_5" class="blsp-spelling-corrected">maintaining</span> a steady pace I caught and passed for 2<span id="SPELLING_ERROR_6" class="blsp-spelling-error">nd</span> overall out of 22 cars and when the checked fell <span id="SPELLING_ERROR_7" class="blsp-spelling-corrected">that's</span> where I ended up and also 2<span id="SPELLING_ERROR_8" class="blsp-spelling-error">nd</span> in my class to my Mentor Jeff Owen from Special Projects <span id="SPELLING_ERROR_9" class="blsp-spelling-corrected">Motor sports</span>.One of my best drives of the year!</div>
<div></div>
<div>With the result from <span id="SPELLING_ERROR_10" class="blsp-spelling-corrected">Saturday</span>,I had high hopes of doing the same <span id="SPELLING_ERROR_11" class="blsp-spelling-corrected">Sunday</span>.I qualified 6<span id="SPELLING_ERROR_12" class="blsp-spelling-error">th</span> and from the standing start I jumped to 5<span id="SPELLING_ERROR_13" class="blsp-spelling-error">th</span>.Keeping up close in the draft with the top 4, I was gaining momentum to gain 4<span id="SPELLING_ERROR_14" class="blsp-spelling-error">th</span>.Suddenly on the back infield <span id="SPELLING_ERROR_15" class="blsp-spelling-corrected">straight</span>,my car lost power and I coasted to a stop.I did manage to idle into the pits and retired with a failed Throttle position sensor.My only <span id="SPELLING_ERROR_16" class="blsp-spelling-error">DNF</span> of the year so far.The second time at this track this year,so we think it is from radiator heat and will fix the issue.Thanks to Church Automotive testing for giving me great power,and thanks to The Progress group for finally nailing my shock settings for my new setup. Great work!</div>
<div></div>
<div>I hope to continue with my <span id="SPELLING_ERROR_17" class="blsp-spelling-corrected">progression</span> in driving and hopefully I can get a few more wins before season ends in November.I want to thank all of my sponsors and friends for your support and to all who read this.Thanks!!</div>

After R&Ding the Nissan GT-R (R35) and producing dry carbon fiber parts in record time (a few world's first thanks to having a GT-R in house), what better way to make sure these parts meet strict road and race durability requirements than to sponsor a driving legend?
</p>
<p>
Steve Millen builds his Targa Newfoundland Nissan GT-R with Password:JDM dry carbon products, including our RACE Dry CF Hood, Dry CF Roof, Trunk and Wing and helps the car drop nearly 400lbs along with their other weight reduction plans. Stay tuned to their Road & Track featured web series to see how STILLEN reaches their goal!

Check out Performance Auto and Sound Magazine's sneak preview two-pager of Password:JDM's GTR (R35) products! They also mention some of our in-house dry carbon fabrication techniques, newly released carbon goodies, our weight reduction methods specifically for the GT-R, and why true race quality dry carbon can also be a work of art.
</p>
<p>
They were also absolutely right about us having about 20 complete products for the GT-R! Heck, it's almost time for them to write about their next visit! Naturally, it's just us having to be ahead of the game.

With most of the lightening done, including gutting the interior, Password:JDM dry carbon panels, and even subtle lightening of other components (see below.. hey weight is weight), it was time to get the GT-R into the paint booth.

<div>Greetings my friends,</div>
<div>
</div>
<div>Summer is here isn't it! My goodness it has been sizzling here in California. June 27 and 28 was the start of the summer leg of the So Cal NASA racing season held at Buttonwillow raceway where we ran the Counter clockwise #1 configuration.Temperatures soared in the mid day to 105 after a warm morning low testing man and machine to their limits.</div>
<div>
</div>
<div>My car was looking sharp and ready for racing with new Torque wheels from Rota.The morning was filled with off track excursions and accidents with many cars as I watched other groups run,a messy start to the weekend for the officials to deal with.After my morning practice I was happy to have the bugs from the previous event worked out and my friends at Church auto testing did their job giving me power and fixing my fueling issue.I also was on a new custom set of shocks from the Progress Group along with different spring rates than I have been running all season.</div>
<div>
</div>
<div>Qualifying was tough in the heat and I did the best I could qualifying mid pack with a 2:15 lap.The car began acting strange turing right at the end of qualifying,indicating an issue with the left front suspension,where I later found my shock oil leaked out form a defective seal.This made the car bounce from the spring force having no resistance.</div>
<div>
</div>
<div>With nothing to loose and no spare,I went into my afternoon sprint race with a heavy right foot.I managed a great start picking up 1 position before the first turn and another a few turns later,I was on a push to the front.I had to stay on my toes to avoid several spins and contact between other cars.A few laps in after some hard driving the left front suspension was getting worse and the car was bouncing dangerously,so I backed off my pace and made sure to bring the car home in one piece.With the H1 points leader not attending the weekend I was able to gain a few point Saturday.Due to the suspension and a failed alternator I withdrew from Sundays action for safety reasons.</div>
<div>
</div>
<div>Next month is a fun race again at AutoClub Speedway,I tend to favor this track and did well in the season opener,lets hope to continue the roll.</div>

<div>Greetings to all,
The 4th NASA event of the season was held Memorial Day Weekend in Rosamond, Ca at Willow Springs Raceway.I hoped to continue my streak of decent runs and get the electrical bug off of my back.I had installed a new sensor on the engine which had failed me,as well as replaced the stock fuel pump with one of higher flow rates to ensure my engine has sufficient fuel.I also had applied some new aggressive alignment settings as well.
<br><br>
Saturday morning I went out for my practice with my Honda Challenge run group.After a few laps I began to drive hard and explore the alignment adjustments I made.I was happy with them and feel the car needed those adjustments.I was distracted however by a lack of power that popped up,a loss of vtec from the computer.Willow Springs is known to be a horsepower track and my car was a sure bet to be running in front.Was I surprised that the stock engined H4 cars were motoring by me! I was strangely in a gear lower than normal all around the track.Usually can use 6th often and this time hardly was able to get into 6th gear with my monster motored car.
<br><br>
The next session was qualifying and I went to give it all I had knowing my engine was down on power. Maximizing what I had,I qualified in the back of the field to no surprise.Then came the afternoon race in about 85 degree weather and super strong west winds about 25 mph at times. I avoided a few incidents in front of me and was keeping up with H4 points leader John Howard.I was actually getting out motored by him and another H4 car as the two battled.I should have been driving around them with my power,but that was not the case.With the super slow and cannibalistic Miata class catching me, I limped home to the checkered flag and made in back in one piece and the car not damaged.
<br><br>
I decided not to run the Sunday race to make sure I did not damage my engine. I will be going to my engine tuner this week to diagnose and repair the issue in the Powertrain Control Module.Also I will be installing some fresh tires and heading to Buttonwillow next month for the sizzling summer stretch of the NASA Honda Challenge racing season. Hopefully I can get the bugs worked out and be up front next time.
<br><br>
Thanks to my partners for your support and thanks for reading,talk to you soon.
<br><br>
Cheers,
Justin

<div>
<div>Greetings,</div>
<div>Well I don't have to tell you time flies,yes it is that time for my Monthly race report again! This past weekend was NASA So Cal's 3rd event of the season held at the technical Buttonwillow raceway west of Bakersfield California. With an electrical gremlin from the last race possibly figured out,I arrived mid-day Friday to get a few practice sessions in to make sure the car was running correctly.I was very happy it was, this meant my saturday and sunday can be spent driving and not watching!</div>
<div>Saturday I went out for qualifying and was not used to the track and did not have a very comfortable feel for my car's handling limits, I qualified 12th out of 14 overall.So I added some downforce with my rear wing and went out for my race. During the race I got to follow some faster drivers and this had begun to pick up my speed and confidence in my car.I was far behind the pack though so a decent overall finish was out of sight,though I did manage a second in my H1 class.</div>
<div>Saturday night was the NASA 3hr enduro that goes well into the night.This is always a pleasure to watch with the different lights on all the cars, and brake rotors glowing red hot in the night. It was entertaining and I was happy to see our buddies Jeremy Croiset and fellow rookie Robert Bawdon run Rob's red and white civic coupe in the enduro,after a small penalty issued to Robert dropping them back of the top three, Jeremy attacked the night and rounded out the second stint of the race well and giving them a podium finish in the E1 class, great job guys!</div>
<div>Sunday was another day for racing and points.I need all I can get for points in H1 with my sponsor and mentor Jeff "Kiwi" Owen in a commanding lead.In the morning qualifier,I was surprised I was much more comfortable with the track and my car. After a few laps I found myself all alone,which is rare and great in a qualifier because you can attack laps with no traffic around inhibiting your line or speed.I ripped off many consecutive laps times, 5 laps of 2:06, that was about 3 seconds faster than saturday's best lap. I missed H1 pole by .3 second with a 2:06.4, my best laps at Buttonwillow 13 clockwise with much more on the table. The race,which had a fun standing start,was awesome.After the start I needed a lap or two for the tire pressures to come up and get a zone.About 3 laps in I realized I was able to fight for the lead in H1,so I drove as fast as I could.Twice I had to nearly stop from 100 mph in a very short distance due to cars going off and bringing up dust cluds one could not see the front of their car in. Instinct and quick gut decisions are cruicial durung a race and I am always amazed at the awareness needed to race a car.Anyone can go through classes and learn to race, only true racers have the skill and ability to think and react in a matter of seconds where a fan goes "he's gonna wreck,OH he made it!". That moment of decison and control is what seperates the Great drivers from the others.</div>
<div>With dangerous blinding rock and dust clouds from a couple incidents and debris being thrown up at me,I am in need of freshend up bumper paint from my good friends at Auto-B-Craft collision. I managed to steer through the problem areas safely,though I was passed when I slowed for the dust,and found myself running side by side for the lead. After a few turns in second, I took a risky inside late brake pass on the leader and ended up going off the track on the turn exit,trying to maintain control doing 75mph in loose and powdery dirt,I eased back on the track safely and was still side by side! In the next turn I got in front and a few turns later my H1 competitor mis-shifted trying to catch me and damaged his engine causing it to expire dramatically.This allowed me to cruise my #64 machine to the finish for my first Honda Challenge and road racing Victory!</div>
<div>An amazing weekend and I am already looking forward to next month at Willow Springs Raceway. I hope to keep my luck and continue to get some good points towards the So Cal H1 title and Best new Driver Honors. I want to thank all of my sponsors and supporters and I hope you enjoy my reports.</div>
<div></div>
<div>Untill next time, Cheers</div>

<div>Greetings,</div>
<div>We meet again for another update from the JW racing camp. This past weekend March 28 and 29 2009, NASA So Cal held the 2nd event of the season at Auto Club; formerly California Speedway, in Fontana and it was a great turn out. </div>
<div>I arrived early on a Windy Friday to test and tune to dial the car setup for the track.The super strong santa ana winds made the car move around lane to lane on the oval section at high speed which was quite uncomfortable,though everyone was in the same boat. I managed to get ahold of the track conditions and tire pressures and was ready for my race on Saturday.</div>
<div>I qualified my #64 civic conservatively and ended up 7th on the grid Saturday.After starting on the inside row behind a slower car that outqualified me by .2 seconds, I was unable to pass on the apron below the white line so this made me a sitting duck for the ones behind me.Immediately I droppped into about 12th or 13th position.I was patient with my attack on the first lap and after waiting and watching a few cars tangle and go off track,it was time to boogie on out! So I got in a rhythm and one by one I picked off the Hondas ahead of me,along with traffic from other classes like 944 spec. </div>
<div>About half through our 35 min sprint race, I noticed my pace was steady and I was catching the leaders.I was careful to manage my tires and this allowed me to not loose pace like some of the other who were too harsh on their tires in the early stages of the race.My car was running smooth and strong and I was in cruise control.With the white flag for the final lap shown,I began one last strong push for the next position and though I made up a several second deficit to the next car, I was not able to catch 4th before the checkered fell.I finished 2nd in H1 and 5th overall in Honda Challenge for my very first sprint race!</div>
<div>Sunday was another chance for me to battle with the best, but a little gremlin decided to jump into my wire harness and my car developed a mis-fire before the qualifyer for Sundays race. Thus I was unable to back up my Saturday performance. It was super fun and all of my fellow Honda Challenge racers were real nice to me and fun to be around,I am glad to be friends with such a fun and awesome group of racers! In the end you can hardly see my trophy I am holding in the picture;but its not about the trophy.We do not get paid to compete or get to enjoy fancy podiums with girls and champagne, we do it for the fun and love of racing.</div>
<div>So we are off to the technical Buttonwillow circuit next month and I hope to do well after I get the car sorted back out and running as it was all year.</div>
<div></div>
<div>Thanks to my friends and supporters and especially my sponsors for having great products and to Password for letting me Blog.</div>
<div></div>
<div>Untill next time</div>
<div></div>
<div>Cheers,</div>

<div>Many of you have heard me plug the new 4 point Tower bar for my EJ coupe in my last race report, so I thought I would share a little of my comments about it.</div>
<div>We all know the Password Tower Bars are Bling and look awesome.They add great strength and texture to a car we love. With my personal track experience,I can say that they function as well. I run the 3 point in front and the 4 point in the rear and can notice a huge difference in stiffness in the cars unibody.</div>
<div>Driving my civic at the limit,I get very in tune with it and can hear and feel everything going on with it.This is the reason I can tell you the tower bars work.This past weekend in my event coverage you see I was running Willow Springs raceway, which is known for rocks and some rough areas.Since my race car is gutted hollow and very ridgid,I can hear and feel alot more vibration and the road talking back to me through the tires thanks in a part to the Password:JDM 4 point tower bar in the rear.This is really important to a rece car driver and a driver loves when the car talks back in a good way.</div>
<div>Not only do I have parts that look good on my racecar but also I have parts that give performance.Best of both worlds and thats what I am all about! Check these bars out and mix and match a set that suits you, you will love them!</div>
<div></div>
<div>Cheers</div>
